If you turn right down Kloof Street after a short 3 minute walk you join Long Street, the hub of Cape Town nightlife. We are within walking distance of many iconic Cape Town sites, including the Planetarium, The National Museum, National Library, The High Court, The Company Gardens, Green Market Square, Heritage Square, The Castle of Good Hope and many more. Slightly further on foot or a short taxi ride (5 Minutes), you will find yourself at The Victoria and Alfred Waterfront, which has over 400 retail outlets selling everything from fashion, homeware and curios, to jewellery, leather goods and audiovisual equipment, the V&A Waterfront is South Africa's most popular shopping destination. The V&A Waterfront's restaurants include Meloncino, Cape Town Fish Market, Sevruga and many many more.

If you turn left when exiting Saasveld Lodge you will shortly arrive at the Table Mountain National park where the fit and adventurous like to hike and climb whilst the less so enjoy casual strolls and picnics on one of the world's most enticing Mountains. Just a little further and you arrive at Camps Bay and Clifton, two of Cape Town's Blue Flag Beaches, with beautiful white beaches and vibrant seaside restaurants and bars. Enjoy Cape Town's fine sparkling wine and oysters, or laze about on a crisp beach.
